Natural Home Remedies For Stretch Marks


Stretch marks is medically known as Striae distensae. It a common skin disorder that affects both males and females but more predominant in females. Stretch marks can occur in different parts of the body, they can appear in the arm, back, shoulder, butt, breast and thigh. Some factors that causes stretch marks are instant weight loss or weight gain, changes in physical conditions, pregnancy and  hereditary. As the name indicate, stretch mark occur when the skin is stretched beyond it limit. Men who lift weight are likely to have stretch mark. Although painless, stretch marks can cause distress to who ever has it. Anyway nature has it own healing ways. Stretch marks may be treated with some of these natural products which are always readily available in the home.


Natural Home Remedies For Stretch Marks
Method 1.
Cut potato into 2 slices, use one slice to rub the affected area, making sure the potato juice soaks on the affected area. Allow it to dry. Then wash off after sometime.

Method 2.
Squeeze out lemon juice, also do the same for cucumber. Mix both juices (lemon + cucumber) thoroughly in equal quantity. Apply on the affected area. Wash off after sometime.

Method 3.
Break an egg. Separate the yolk  from the egg white. Egg white is that clear liquid found in the egg. Apply the egg white on the affected area. Allow to dry. Wash off  after sometime and moisturize skin preferably with olive oil. Do this for aleast 2weeks for effective result.

Method 4.
Cut lemon into 2 half and rub it over the affected area in a circular motion for minutes. Then wash off with water.

    1. Yes dear. Some time in the past I got stretch marks after losing weight, but shea butter and aloe vera juice helped get rid of it...
