I was in church last week Sunday, Convenant Christian Centre (C3) to be precise and at the end of the sermon, the senior pastor, Pastor Poju shared a testimony about a lady whose daughter was healed from a terrible accident after she confessed Psalms 91 with faith and conviction in her heart.
Her daughter fell down a staircase and suffered a terrible head injury which lead to severe bleeding, while she waited for her sister to get the car ready, she confessed Psalm 91 and before getting to the end the bleeding miraculously stopped.
Her daughter didn't go unconscious and even when they got to the hospital, no internal injury was found...
Pastor Poju further admonished the church to use the word of God as an instrument in overcoming any trouble including the Ebola virus because there's power in the name of Jesus and in the word of God. I'm a living testament to the wonders of God.
Pastor Poju encouraged the church to confess not only the Psalm, but the word of God daily with conviction that all we confess will come to pass.
This is not to say that Christians should become careless because we believe God will always see us through. Christians should always apply God's wisdom to everything situation. Ensure to take preventive measures!!! Play your part in avoiding the virus and God will play his part!
Here's Psalm 91 and how to personalise it:
I (insert your name) who lives in the shelter of the most high will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I declare of The Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety, he is my God and I am trusting him.
For he will rescue me from every trap and protect me from the fatal plague (insert the Ebola virus).......
Read through and personalise the rest of Psalm 91.
How do you apply the word of God to everyday life situations? Please leave your suggestions and comments below.
Life is beautIFU!

I'm proof that Psalm 91 works. Although, it works, we need to be practical about things. Praying is one thing, taking steps to prevent ebola is another!
ReplyDeleteTrue dear...
DeleteSo true, good job.
ReplyDeleteI read a post on reddit I think it was where t b Joshua claimed to have holy water to cure Ebola and he sent it over to Liberia in a chartered private plane. Now he is one of the richest men in Nigeria according to Forbes and my question is at what point do you start to get upset with "men of God" who claim to be what the people need? These days, ppl worship them and not God and it makes you wonder what to believe in. For me I always like to think I have faith but I know my faith isn't as strong as it should be but I do hope and pray that we get past this Ebola outbreak soon.
ReplyDeleteU lack faith yet u condem those tht put their to work... leave TB Joshua alone, he Isn't the curse of ur problem...
DeleteWord of God is eee and Amen. And he said, instead of his word to pass away, heaven and earth will pass away.
ReplyDeleteI am a living testimony of Gods words. When you study the bible you will notice that God has said sth in virtualy every situation including Ebola.
Whatever is it that is troubling you, find out what God has said concerning that situation, quote it and throw his word back at him... do this and you will get immediate answer to your prayers
Pls what bible version is this. Is it NIV ? I think I prefer it to the words of my own bible
