SUPER WEIGHT-LOSS FOODS!

It's not news that the combination of various weight-loss exercises and the right diet is the best formula for losing weight (checkout out weight-loss exercises and foods to avoid here and here ). Substituting high-calorie foods and drinks for great weight-loss foods is the right direction to go. Some amazing weight loss foods include: foods rich in omega-3 fatty acid, apples, green tea and foods rich in vitamin c. Let's find out what makes these foods great for weight-loss.

Omega-3 fatty acid
Studies have shown that foods rich in omega-3 fatty acid are great for reducing abdominal fat. They prevent damage to your body from severe stress and also help prevent increased fat storage caused by the steroid hormone by keeping stress hormones from peaking.
Great sources of omega-3 fatty acid include; salmon, flaxseed and walnut (I particularly enjoy eating walnuts).

Green Tea
According to a survey overweight people who followed a low-calorie diet with exercising and drinking green tea lost more weight than those who only exercised and maintained a low-calorie diet.
Those drinking green tea lost more weight, especially belly fat. This is because green tea is loaded with powerful antioxidants that not only fight off infection and disease, but decrease inflammation which is a belly fat contributor.
Green tea also contains a powerful flavonoid called quercetin. Research has shown that this flavonoid not only improves the immune system, it decrease inflammation, reduces belly fat and blocks baby cells from maturing. ( Large amounts of quercetin can also be found in apples, red onions, leafy greens and tomatoes).

Vitamin C
According to nutritionists and health experts, the ability of vitamin C to reduce stress hormone levels may help to prevent increased belly fat storage.
Citrus fruits such as orange and lemon are a great sources of vitamin C. Also green peppers and pineapples are packed with vitamin C. Aim to consume foods rich in vitamin C everyday. Vitamin C is great for keeping the immune system in check by fighting off diseases.
It's available in supplements, but taking it naturally is the best.

I hate to make an article awfully long so I'll continue in my next post. Please leave your suggestions and comments below.

    1. Oh no dear! Who fed you this wrong info? Green tea has no negative effect on the liver. As a matter of fact studies have shown that people who drink green tea are less likely to develop liver problems.
Green tea also seems to protect the liver from the
damaging effects of toxic substances such as
alcohol. Animal studies have shown that green tea
helps protect against liver tumors in mice... I'm just doing write article on facts about green tea...
