Get A Flatter Belly In 3 Days: Weekend Flat Belly Challenge

Getting a flatter belly could be a walk in the park if you're armed with the right knowledge, or better still if you know the right exercises to do.

The exercises in this weekend flat-belly challenge include, crunch, sit-ups and planks, but the most important is the addition of detox water. The benefits of detox water can never be overrated. Aside getting rid of bloating, detox water also helps burn fat, thanks to ingredients like lemon and lime. You can read about how to make detox water here. Last weekend I went beyond my food limit and I was so bloated that the sound my belly made when I slightly hit it could be likened to a talking drum, but after few minutes I got detox water into my system, the toilet ended up at the receiving end.

3 days Workout program for a flatter belly

1. Start your day with detox water, 20 minutes before your workout. Because of the purgative effect of detox water, you might want to consider drinking it when you're at completely at home or at night before you go to the bed.

2. In the morning do 20 reps of each exercise (sit-ups, crunch, planks) for 3-5 sets. Try to finish a set without any break or with a maximum of 20secs break. Rest for a few seconds and begin another set until you finish all sets or you're exhausted. You could repeat this workout routine in the evening.

3. Take a picture of your belly just before you begin this weekend exercise and by monday, let's compare it to the result you would have achieved.

Exercises

Crunch

Get in the position of the above crunch variation, and repeat for 20 reps for 1 set.

Plank

Get in the full plank position, tighten your stomach muscles and stay in that position for 30 seconds to 1minute, repeat 3-5times.

Don't forget to add the sit-ups too. If you're going to participate in this weekend challenge, simply indicate by commenting below. Your suggestions are also welcome.

PS: If you're a new mum or if you aren't sure how your body will respond to the detox water and exercises, please consult your physician.

    1. The crunch variation for this workout program is explained in the picture illustration. It's done by extending your legs from A to B(like I did in the picture), bring it back to A to complete one round and repeat 20 times for 1set...

    1. My dear, whatever your workout program, you need to always remind yourself why you started it and the results you'll like to achieve... That should be enough motivation...

    1. Hi dear, that story about lemons and limes being responsible for infertility is an extremely baseless myth. Studies actually show that the could increase a woman's chances at conceiving because lemons and lime possess nutritional values that enable them fight free radicals and toxins in your body, some of which contribute to infertility.
