Cellulite is not a friend of any lady, especially those who love to flaunt their bodies in bikinis. Cellulite is also not a respecter of body size as it affects both overweight and normal-weight ladies. Though it's more predominant in overweight ladies.
This skin condition is caused by several factors which include genes and accumulation of fat due to lack of exercise. Several over-the-counter-medication claim to be effective against cellulite, but that's not always the case when put to use, but not to worry, here are some exercises that can help get rid of cellulite by targeting the areas that store the accumulated fat responsible for this skin disorder.
Follow this workout routine 3 days a
week, and watch those ripples disappear.
Step 1-Cardio: Warm up with 2 minutes of
moderate walking, cycling, or stair climbing. Increase
intensity for 8 minutes. Work vigorously enough to get your heart pumping. Lower the intensity, and cool down for
2 minutes.
Step 2: Do 3-5 sets of 20
repetitions of each of the following exercises using your bodyweight to fatigue the
muscles (except for the static squat, for each set, hold for 30 seconds to 1minute). You'll know your muscles are weak when you can hardly complete a set.
Step 3- Flexibility: After you complete your desired sets of exercises, you need to stretch the muscle you just
worked. Do each stretch once, holding for 20
seconds. Some fitness experts has found that adopting this
stretching strategy can boost strength training
results by 20%.
Exercises include:
1. Lunges - 20 on each leg for 3-5 sets
2: Wall squats
3. Static squats- hold for 30 secs to 1minute per set.

4. Don't forget to stretch the muscles you just worked!

ReplyDeleteHi Ifeoma, you might need to consider a belly flush (detox) and exercises to help flatten it further. Pls check my article on flat belly tips.
DeleteI have never heard of this brand before but I’ll have a look at it. I currently use a Body Shop one which is probably similar to this.
